The story of our coffee blend:

Named after Brera, the Italian style, art and culture capital, our obsession to create the perfect coffee blend began back in 1991 and we’ve been refining it ever since to create the perfect modern blend. We carefully source and roast premium Arabica beans to create a deep, smooth, rich and full-bodied coffee and a Decaf.

We have combined 2 specialty coffees to create this unique blend. Our coffees come from 2 countries, Brazil and Hon5ty Duras. The blend consists of 75% Monte Cristo from Brazil and 25% El Chupadero from Honduras.

The Brazilian coffee offers its sweet nutty chocolate flavour and the Honduran coffee has a nice black cherry aroma which complements the Brazilian coffee very well. A full body espresso with notes of chocolate, marmalade sweetness and black cherry. 

We blend all of your coffee post-roast. This means we roast the coffee separately before combining them together. This protects the coffee’s organic flavours and qualities. Thus, creating this wonderful blend.

In addition, every coffee is graded on a scale from 0 to 100 points. Any coffee that scores over 80 points is considered a specialty coffee. The Brera blend has scored 87 points on the specialty scale, making this coffee not only unique but high quality.

We love our coffee served espresso – because we’re Italian and that’s just how we like it — our coffee also makes the perfect latte, cappuccino or Martini.
